I'll try to touch on a few of those experiences in the days to come, but for now I just want to touch on a few 18 month milestones...although, they'll be 19 months in about a week.
The girls are running everywhere.
They love to throw balls, put together puzzles, stack blocks and read books.
Esme has started attempting singing (she'll dance to a song and sing every other word or so).
Ellerie can do a somersault all by herself.
They are now quite fascinated by forks and love to "poke" their food.
They can identify their upper and lower case letters, numbers 1-10, shapes: circle, square, triangle, oval, diamond, star, arch, semi-circle, rectangle and octagon (every single time they see a stop sign!!), colors: red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, orange, purple, pink and sometimes brown.
They are starting to count. Esme can count to 10 with a little assistance. Ellerie counts 1-3, but doesn't seem interested in going further.
I've introduced the potty and Ellerie has peed in the potty several times. I can leave her diaper off for an hour, or so, and she'll usually not have an accident on the floor. She's probably ready...not sure I am ready for the extra job! :)
At their 18 month check-up, the girls each received two shots...and no tears! There were a few fusses, but that was it! I couldn't believe it! They love "Doctor Greenlee" and ask if they can go see her.

They have now moved up to chewable vitamins...such big girls! There is no more baby fat on these girls...even though they moved up in weight. They are solid muscle!
18 month stats:
Esme (in pigtails): 22 lbs 11 oz (50th percentile), 2' 9.5" tall (92nd percentile)
Ellerie: 25 lbs 1.5 oz (77th percentile), 2' 9.75" tall (95th percentile)
