Splash Pad

Summer is finally here! The sun is shining bright today and the girls and I are anxious to get out the new water table that was gifted from the girls' Nana (my mother-in-law). Once they wake up from nap, and have a little snack, we'll bring it outside and fill it up! I'll let you know how that goes in a later post...with pictures!

This last weekend, we ventured to a nearby park to try out the Splash Pad with the girls. We venture to this park often. The girls love the swings, slides and just love going for walks around the park. Ellerie likes to people/kid watch and Esme likes to run circles around them (she's my "busy body").

We went to the park Splash Pad last summer, when the girls were about 4 or 5 months old, but they (and their friend Lily) were a bit too young to enjoy it. So, I was excited to see how they would respond now that they can run through the water and fully enjoy it. Well, they loved it, and I can't wait to try out a few more "splash pads" and fountains around town this summer...there are some great ones!
